1. General
Most purchases on Roewan are custom digital services or digital files. Because of their nature, refunds are limited as described below. This policy works alongside our Terms of Service.
2. Commissions (custom work)
- Before a Creator accepts/starts work: you may request a full refund.
- After work begins, before final delivery: refunds may be partial to reflect work completed (platform decision, in consultation with the Creator).
- After final delivery/approval: refunds are generally not available unless required by law.
Creators should clearly state scope, timelines, milestones, and revision limits in the listing. Customers must provide timely feedback. If a Creator fails to deliver, contact support for assistance; we may cancel and refund.
3. Digital downloads
Digital downloads are generally non-refundable once delivered, except in cases of duplicate purchase, file corruption (where replacement is not possible), or where required by law.
4. Disputes & chargebacks
Please contact us first so we can help resolve issues. If you file a chargeback, we may suspend your account during review. We provide delivery/approval evidence to payment providers. We may recover negative balances from future payouts or your payment method as allowed by law and the applicable Stripe terms.
5. Platform fees & timing
Platform fees and processing fees may be non-refundable after work has started or a download is delivered. Approved refunds are typically returned to the original payment method; bank timelines vary.
6. Physical goods (rare)
If a Creator offers a physical print, shipping and returns are managed by the Creator and their stated policy. Request tracking information from the Creator when applicable.
